The Rotary Club of Roatan hosted its 14th Annual Christmas Gala on December 14th, 2024, at the Kimpton Grand Roatan Resort. As one of the island’s most anticipated holiday events, the sold-out gala welcomed 175 guests for an evening of fine dining, entertainment, and charitable giving.
Each year, a dedicated gala committee works for months to plan every detail, secure donations, and ensure tickets sell out. This year’s event raised over USD22,000 through ticket sales, silent auctions, and live bidding. The local business community showed incredible generosity, with 98 donors contributing 121 items, totaling USD26,255. A signed Pelé soccer jersey sold for USD1,000 at auction, alongside prizes such as artwork, hotel stays, scuba diving, and spa
packages.
All funds raised will support Rotary-led projects in education, healthcare, clean water, and public safety. The Rotary Club of Roatan remains committed to its mission of Service Above Self, improving lives across the island.
